Cheryl's doing great. I'd probably go so far as to say she's the most underappreciated person who works here. She literally does so much for us in so many departments. Being the one administrator in a small company is hard, and I let her know how much we appreciate her every time I see her!

We had coffee. Carrie still feels a little disconnected. She feels like we've got way more work than we can handle, and not enough people. She also feels like we're not being transparent enough. Some of that is true, but I let her know we're working on both areas, including recruiting more people as well as using Know Your Company to improve communications.

Charles is doing well, steady as a sailboat. He's not the most vocal guy, so it can be tough to get a read from him. But he seems to be in good spirits and is doing good work.

Brian's doing OK. He's a little miffed that he was promoted with a bigger pay bump. But he's less concerned about that than just making sure the tech team has a bigger role up front. He's concered that the team will be in a bad spot if we don't have better collaboration with the design team much earlier on. This is someting we should try to address, as I do agree with him.
